We drove from Shanghai, a very complicated city, to Nanjing, the first capital of China. Otherwise, it was rainy and I could not observe this green city much. With our next factory tour and the dinner given to our honor, we only had dinner time to go to the city. Fortunately, dear Mr. Xie promised us a trip and we left to meet the next day. The next day we started a tour of this first capital city. It was founded in Nanjing, the first capital of the Ming family of the Chinese empire. The sons of Zhu Yuangzhang, the first emperor of this dynasty, then moved the capital to Beijing, namely Beijing. Our first stop was the house and tombs of Zhu Yuangzhang and other family members. On the way to these dynasty tombs in greenery, we come across the “Sacred Avenue Section” with the English name “Sacred Road”. The rulers of that time wanted to maintain the dominance and wealth under the ground after death, so they built structures and tombs worthy of their glory. There are 24 animal and 8 human sculptures placed in zigzags on this sacred path of Min’s handrail. The animals with sculptures are believed to guard the empire, and even their ordering is hierarchical. 6 stone animal statues on both sides consist of tiger, legend animal Xie, camel, elephant, another mystical animal Qi Lin and horse. All of these animals are of supreme importance in Chinese imperial culture. Later, a statue of the emperor’s top 4 top soldiers and 4 top state officials was made.
After seeing Xiaolin Tombs where the Ming dynasty rested, Dr. We went to Sun Yat-Sen’s empty tomb. Sun Yat-Sen quit his job as a doctor and entered politics and founded the Nationalist party. He overthrew the feudal order and subsequently played a major role in the establishment of Taiwan. His grave is empty because the students took his body from his grave and smuggled it to Taiwan. Now, I can’t believe that I took a breath to the top of that hill and watched the city view. Want youth 🙂 I would like to talk about the different religions and cultures in Nanjing province. Zheng He (Haji Mahmud Shams), one of Genghis Khan’s grandchildren, entered the service of the Ming dynasty when he was 11 years old, after the Ming dynasty conquered the Greek region. Muslims living as a minority in the Greek region were relieved with Zheng He and Nanjing remained the center of Islam in China until the communist regime came. Seafarer Zhang He, who came to a strong position in the empire, made important expeditions and many successes. That’s why we visited Nanjing Jingjue Mosque, the first mosque in Nanjing. Mr. and Mrs. Not only did Xie take us, they also visited the mosque with us curiously. Chinese architecture and Arabic letters, a true cultural mosaic!
NINGBO 宁波 市
Our Nanjing trip is over and we arrived at the airport. How did I know at that moment that it was the funniest, funniest flight I have ever done in my life. When I came to China, I was completely confused by the 20kg luggage limit. I used to buy from 60kg per person to still not fit in the suitcases, this 20 kg torture shook me deeply. On my way from Wenzhou to Guangzhou, I paid a $ 45 penalty, and when I did not shop yet. I cleverly put into practice the idea of taking the excess items in hand luggage on our next flights. The cost had been a long bargain with the stewardesses and all passengers getting to know me before I got on the plane. Not to mention my broken nerves. Just as I said we overcame this obstacle, I woke up with the strange looks of the hostesses. While I was thinking that they will definitely give a penalty again, when someone came and said that my hand luggage (normal rack size) was too small for the plane, I thought it was a money trap again. Thanks and as soon as I ran to get on the plane. I understood what they meant as soon as I got on the plane. Not my suitcase, even a notebook computer without exaggeration could only fit on the shelves of this 55-seat plane. Fortunately, there were not a few passengers on the plane, so I put my hand luggage on their seats. Of course, I am not talking about the strange looks of the passengers, mostly businessmen, on the plane. They were not unfair, I came on a plane where everyone was traveling with a tiny hand-luggage – they already gave it to the trunk – with more than anyone else. Among the dozens of tiny hand luggage, my giant 25kg suitcases shouted that they were mine in every form. We packed 6 suitcases into a sedan car and said we were pleased with Ningbo even though the seats were full, including the places where we stepped on.
Unfortunately, our adventures did not end with this, completely different surprises awaited us at the hotel. With the room we booked was given to someone else, we were dropped into a much smaller room. I told the reservation manager that it was never possible to change this situation, at least to give us the room for free. Of course, it was not easy to convince him of this. I had to argue exactly 90 minutes to get a 50% discount. Towards the end of the night, even his gestures did not change as I turned into a weary warrior with the stress of travel and argument. That’s when I started to think that these people were specially trained.
