Ataturk Evi Muzesi – What to See – Adana

Adana Atatürk House Museum, which shows the typical features of traditional Adana Houses, is a registered immovable cultural asset and is one of the examples of civil architecture that best describes its period.

On March 15, 1923, Atatürk and his wife Latife Hanım were hosted in this mansion belonging to Ramazanoğlu Suphi Bey during their visit to Adana.

The building, which was expropriated and restored by the Atatürk Science and Culture Center Museum Preservation and Sustainability Association under the leadership of the then Corps Commander Bedrettin DEMİREL and with the help of the public, was put into service in 1981 as a unit affiliated with the Museum Directorate.

March 15, the date of Atatürk’s arrival in Adana, is celebrated every year with an official ceremony in this building. War of Independence and the first years of the Republic in the museum; It is explained with various documents and photographs.

There are Study Rooms, Library, Sofa, Bedroom, Press Room and Mujahideen Room on the lower floor of the museum building, which consists of two floors, and there are Hatay Room, Weapons Room, Aide Room and Kuvay-i Milliye Room on the upper floor.
