City of Curves!
It is almost impossible to find a flat object, road and bridge in this city.
Icons of the city
Lombard street
Golden gate bridge
Coit Tower-Telegraph tower
Trans America skyscraper
Alcatraz island / former prison
Sea lions and pier 39 (dock)
Victorian style houses
I think the best part of our trip was hidden at the end. Actually, I was sure of this even before I set out, so I spent 2 days for this city. Maybe those who read the article will laugh, but we have become professional as the family travels with lightning speed – without skipping any detail on the tour. As we came to the city in the evening, we set out for the Coit tower to watch the sunset. We chose the hotel from outside of the city due to parking problem. But thanks to our road map, we saw many places in the city and reached the place we wanted. Coit tower, which provides 360 degrees of observation of the city, was closed because the working hour was over. The next day, we came again and recorded every detail through the lens to show the grandchildren.
San Francisco’s sleek architecture and Victorian homes
Alcatraz island and prison
Nowadays, this island, which serves as the main visiting place for tourists on cruise tours, is actually a prison. It was used as a prison until 1963, and only one person was able to escape, and his fate is unknown. At the insistence of my brother and father, we entered the ticket queue and they said that the tickets were over for 8 days. Unfortunately, I cannot say that we could not go because it was safer for me to see it from a distance.
Lombard Street – the most winding street
Do not come to this city if the bustling car journey, curved roads, bumps hold you. Lombard Street is actually a tiny street on a long street, but it is famous for being the most winding street in the city. Many people line up to drive through this street, especially tourists, taking pictures of the street covered with colorful hydrangeas on each side.
Bridges and me
For some reason, cities with bridges are also very civilized to me. I mean a civilization far from the word contemporary, and cities that carry remnants of civilization. The fact that Istanbul, the cradle of the most beautiful civilizations, and our beautiful Bosphorus are adorned with two beautiful necklaces, perhaps makes me love bridges.
That red bridge-Golden Gate bridge we saw at the beginning of Our Home, starring Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen twins, is just one of the many bridges that grace San Francisco. This red bridge, which has been shown in many movies, can be crossed on foot and by bicycle. Even without going to the bridge, many cyclists in the city manage to attract people with their “bike the bridge” campaigns. If I had time, it would be an activity that is at the top of my list, because it is not what we did not do – I have gone between trucks on the Burhaniye-Ayvalık highway, every youth hey!. or a similar jacket is a must because even the city was flying at the end of June. They also call Chicago the “windy city”, however, they are the delusions of those who do not see this place.
On the detective side, a warning for suicidal people at the entrance of the bridge, “Don’t lose hope, call us!”
Bay Bridge / bridge connecting San Francisco and Treasure Island.
Connecting San Francisco and Oakland, the Oakland Bay Bridge passes through Treasure Island and bends into the bay. It is so interesting that this island is both quiet like a private property. This obscure place is an escape for some, even a movie scene for some. Both sides of the city can be contacted from here. Views from this secret place:
There are so many photos to show, it will not fit. Finally, another San Francisco from a bird’s eye view from Berkeley hill!
Before I forget, Turk Street!
This street did not sound safe to me like many parts of the city. I don’t think it’s possible to find so many homeless people even in New York. When it gets dark, they start to appear in the square and lay their beds in the parks. I wish we had studied here, I said what a beautiful city my mother touched on my security problem. It is not unfair that even at 3 am in our neighborhood, it is possible to safely withdraw money from the cash machine and come home on foot. In the following days, I will post photos of my neighborhood, where my neighborhood is, insha’Allah. The name of a street close to the park of the homeless is “Turk”. Although it is not true to its name, it is nice to be known somewhere.
We came to the end of our two-day tour, even though we said 7 days was not enough, we finished all the places to visit, even we had a lake pleasure until our plane took off. If you don’t believe it, come on!
