Chef’s recipe; Mushroom casserole with meat in the oven for 4-6 people

Large casserole, prepared beforehand. You can see how to prepare the newly purchased casserole here.

Ingredients:

1 kg caracal mushroom

0.5 kg, half a kilo of chopped bird meat

3 potatoes

4 tomatoes (we didn’t have them)

3 carrots

4 onions

some dried mint some dried thyme

half a lemon

salt

half tablespoon of pepper paste

4 cloves of garlic

4 tablespoons of olive oil

How to make

Do not wash the mushrooms! If there are hard areas on the roots, wipe them with a wet cloth if there are dusty areas on the forehead. It won’t happen if you wash the mushrooms. Don’t question it, do what it says.

Prepare the onions, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, chop them and place them on separate plates.

Use a wooden spoon.

1- Sotmele: Put oil in the casserole, put the meat and mushrooms and start roasting, the water will come out and this water will go away on its own. Stir occasionally. When the water evaporates, add the onions and continue sautéing. Stir occasionally until the onions lose their firmness and do not burn.

I added the meat first, but the mushrooms remained firm, not too much, you can add them after the meat has absorbed a little bit of its water without completely roasting it.

2- After the sautéing process, add whatever you have, sauté the remaining ingredients a little more, let the newly added ingredients heat up. We don’t actually sauté only the added ones.

Add enough hot water so that it does not rise to the top, do not forget to add spices, and do not forget to squeeze half a lemon.

Add 3 teaspoons of salt.

3- The most exciting part is putting it in the oven. I baked it for 1 hour at 200-210 degrees, that’s enough for you, just set it for an hour and leave the oven.

4- Remove from the oven.
