Route: Marmaris – Çiftlik Bay-Bozukkale – Koca Island – Bencik – Kargı – Datça – Knidos – Kızıl Island – Bozburun – Kadırga – Kumlubük – Marmaris.

Marmaris
Marmaris, which Herodotus says “has the most beautiful sky in the world”, is not only an important tourism city based on pine forests in the South Aegean, but also one of the most important yachting centers of the region. Its marina is at the service of yachtsmen for 12 months. A great combination of nature and fun is experienced here. Yacht manufacturing and maintenance is also carried out in the workshops in the Yalancı Strait of Marmaris, which has a very suitable natural harbor for yachts. The Mediterranean climate allows swimming in the sea even in winter, while the dense and high mountains surrounding it are home to the rare “daily” and “plane trees” in the world. It is possible to come across virgin bays around Marmaris, where nature behaves as generous as it can get. Coves and islands with a history dating back to prehistoric times await curious people. You always have the chance to choose a place according to your taste in the surrounding bays amidst the sounds of birds.

Farm Bay
It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the region, where daily tour boats stop by. The coarse sandy beach of Çiftlik Bay attracts the most attention. The sea is always sparkling. There is a small island at the entrance of the bay. However, since this island is private property, you cannot leave without permission. There are historical ruins on the beach at the tip of Gerbekilise Bay, right next to it. This bay is one of the main stopovers for blue cruise boats.

Datca
Surrounded by the sea on three sides, Datça is one of the paradise corners where the Mediterranean and the Aegean meet. This place dazzles the unique natural beauties, clean sea and virgin bays. The Datça peninsula, which was described by Geography Scholar Strabon as “If God wishes his beloved servant to have a long life, to Datça”, half of the Datça peninsula overlooks the Aegean and half the Mediterranean. In addition to its natural beauties, the peninsula, which is one of the oldest settlements of the Aegean, also appeals to history lovers with its nearby ancient city of Knidos. Among the ruins in the ancient city of Knidos, located at Tekir Cape, 28 kilometers from Datça, there are a small theater with a capacity of 10 thousand, a large theater with a capacity of 20 thousand, Odeon, Apollon and various temples of Venus.

Knidos
At the southwestern end of Gokova are the ruins of Knidos, one of the greatest cities of its time and home to the greatest sculptor of antiquity, Preksiteles. Today, Knidos can only be reached by sea; just like thousands of years ago. Knidos is the only city that remained on land after Halicarnassos was expelled from Dor Hexapolis (six cities). The most sacred place of Dor Hexapolis, the temple of Apollo is located here. According to Heredotos, Knidos was founded by colonists from Sparta. The city walls, which have three gates, are well preserved. However, the eastern part of the ancient theater in the north of the city was completely destroyed. The ancient theater consists of 35 rows and 2 diozomes (Diazoma: promenade and passageways separating the seating rows in the Ancient Theaters). The period of the rectangular temple located here is unknown. There is a second odeon to the west of the temple, a doric stoa to the south, and a church built on the Dionizinos temple below the buildings. Eudoksos (4000 BC), one of the most important astronomers and mathematicians in history, and the famous architect Sostrato are from Knidos.

Bozburun
There are tourist facilities, restaurants and a marina in the bay, which is located 50 kilometers west of Marmaris and has become the favorite of yachtsmen. Bozburun is the place where the gulet boats live in their skillful hands.
