Ağva means “water” in Latin (Aqua). The most attractive part of our Ağva, which is established on the delta between Göksu and Yeşilçay streams, is the lush green shores of these streams. It is a region where naturalness is intertwined with its natural beach and natural wonder green, virgin bays, islets, forests around it and where the oxygen rate is very high. Kilimli Bay, Gelin Kayası, and Saklı Lake are places to be discovered. There are several interesting caves around, such as Gürlek and İnkese. There are many ruins from the Genoese, Venetian and Byzantine periods in the vicinity. 7th century. It is possible to come across some remnants of the long history in the surrounding villages of Ağva. Church ruins and tombstones belonging to the Romans in Kalem Köy are in Hacilli village, 3rd century. end – 4th century. Gürlek Cave at the beginning, the castle ruin in Hisar Tepe and the mountain mill in Sungurlu neighborhood are important finds.
