Turks Encountered Mammoths!

In the Gobi Desert Region of Mongolia, One of the Largest Deserts in the World, Archaeological Documents Witnessing the Cultural Connections between the Altai and the Gobi were Retrieved during the Researches Conducted on behalf of the Pre-Turkish Academy in July-August.

The Pre-Turkic Academy Science Team continued its studies in the Gobi Desert as part of the “Archaeological Resources of Turkish Culture in Central Asia” (OTAK) Project, which has been implemented since 1995. Intensive Rock Paintings were encountered in the works spread around the wide area of the mountainous area. Traces of Upper Paleolithic (Old Stone Age) Age Settlements were found in the region.

It has been revealed many times with material evidence that cultural relations developed between Siberia and Göbeklitepe thousands of years ago. As a matter of fact, the existence of such early settlements in the desert region is exciting. Could the History of Turkish-Speaking Peoples in These Lands Be Going So Early While Researches About the Paleolithic Period were Conducted for the First Time in the Mongolia Region? Searching for an Answer.

Turkish-Chinese Relations
Petroglyphs Are Not Equivalent Records, On The contrary, they are a great source of information in terms of reenacting the daily lives of local communities, burial customs, housing styles (ger, tent) and many life events.

The Existence of Rock Paintings Spreading Over Wide Areas Starting from the Altai Mountains Peaks is coming to light with each passing day.

Too Many Petroglyph Records Have Been Made in the Gobi Region. The Rock Paintings, which are spread over a distance of about two thousand kilometers in the east-west direction from the Altai, are concentrated on a line of about 700 kilometers, orienting to the south from Ulanbator.
This Line is the Busiest Route Used by the Northern Steppe Tribes from the Paleolithic During their Incursions to the Yellow River Lengths, to the Chinese Plains via the Helan Mountains. The Density of Petroglyphs is the Most Concrete Evidence of this.
