The waterfall, located eight kilometers away from Antalya city center, in the direction of Lara, is also known as Karpuzkaldıran. Lower Düden Waterfall is formed as a result of the Düden Stream discharging its waters into the sea from a height of forty meters, where it reaches the sea.

A cloud of fog forms over the sea due to the eruption of huge water. Genclik Park, located nearby, is an ideal viewing point for the waterfall view. There is also a cafeteria, parking lot and picnic area in the park, and boat tours are organized near the waterfall.
