When you come from Edremit or Havran intersection and proceed over Burhaniye in the direction of Ayvalık, you will see the giant portrait of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on the mountains on the horizon! Gömeç Municipality has signed Atatürk as a viewing point to determine the point where the portrait appears most prominently.
