Beynam Trip – Bridge – Ataturk Forest – Ankara / Turkey

This time, I found the house where Atatürk stayed for one night even more in ruins. I’ll never find it next year, sure! Because the square of the house has escaped well, the plaster has fallen, the staircase entrance has collapsed, the walls, the door, the window are destroyed. The house was bought from its owner and transferred to the Ministry of Culture. Those concerned went and looked, but nobody was interested. Obviously it was not considered worthy of protection and was abandoned to its fate. Judging by what was told around, the house had an old wooden cedar with inscriptions on it. Atatürk wrote these articles himself the night he stayed. Cedar is missing, home traveler! .. I can’t stop without writing. 2-3 thousand people come to the picnic area for the weekend. There are also transit passers. If a museum was built in Beynam with countless ethnographic artifacts imprisoned in the dark in warehouses, its surroundings were arranged, a new destination was won …

Atatürk got his certificate in this region to join Bala and a few districts near Beynam and enter the Parliament as a deputy. Documents I received from Bala Municipality; “Election certificate of Mustafa Kemal Pasha and Ankara deputies….” It begins with his words, “Consequently, it is a blessing that they have been accused of being a member of the Meclis-i Mezkur. 1 April 1336) ends with the lines. There is another stopover point between Beynam and Köprüköy: Bala. The district, which is connected to Ankara by a 68 km asphalt road, was founded 600 years ago by a Turkish named Kara Ali. The district, which is 1336 meters above sea level, is known as Bala, which means “high”. Wheat Bala obtained in productive years was so abundant that “If Bala’s face smiles, Ankara’s face laughs too!” word of mouth spread from language to language. Mayor Selahattin Çakır says, “One in 70 of Turkey’s wheat comes out in Bala …”.
