The historical bridge, which was built with an interlocking lock system using cut stone that defies the years, gives its name to the environment and is located on the entrance of the Bosphorus, along the Kızılırmak river and Kapulukaya dam lake. Almost everybody uses the same word for bridges, they say “like a necklace”… There is nothing like that, just like that. In my previous crossings, I looked with envy from the driver’s window, and I always looked for an excuse to photograph the old stone bridge and introduce the region. As a matter of fact, the surrounding area shows the ancient bridge. The bridge is located between attractive and proud-looking rocks. In the time of Kızılırmak, it must have arranged its bed and sanded the stones and rocks with the flow of the water. The shaped environment is just like rich vegetation. The color harmony of green, blue and yellow, pastel color integrity and the relaxing natural environment give peace, calm down, you do not want to leave. As such, those who put their boats on their vehicles or put a trailer behind them take their breath to Köprüköy.

Passing over the Kızılırmak bridge in a cozy way, cars and 4x4s are left under the willow trees. Those who pass through the aesthetic eyes under the bridge with boats lowered into still water, cross the dam throat and tour the lake next to the underwater water mill ruins; At appropriate places, they hang their fishing rods into the water, on which they attach a small artificial fish called “sası” or small live fish. Patient masters keep from species such as pike, carp, perch, velvet. There are also those who cook the fish they caught on free wooden tables on the beach in a picnic manner, and they take it with them. The incontinent ones, on the other hand, stop by those who sell fish on the vending stalls along the way.
