
Suna-İnan Kıraç Kaleiçi Museum consists of two buildings registered as cultural assets that need to be protected, in Kaleiçi, the heart of Antalya. These buildings, purchased by Suna and İnan Kıraç, were opened to visitors as a private museum after a meticulous renovation work carried out in 1993-1995.
The first of the buildings is a two-storey, traditional Antalya house with an external hall, dating back to the 19th century. In this building, designed as an ethnography museum, where sections of Kaleiçi life specific to the second half of the 19th century are presented with special effects; Elements specific to Anatolian folk culture such as coffee service, groom’s shaving and henna night are staged.

The second building located in the museum garden is the Hagia Yorgi (Agios Georgios) Church. The building, which is an Orthodox church, was repaired in 1863. The interior walls and ceiling of the rectangular-plan, single-volume, vaulted building are decorated with hand-carved decorations. While a rich collection of Çanakkale ceramics is exhibited in the main hall of the museum, which was designed as an exhibition space after the renovation; The upper floor houses thematic exhibitions related to local cultures.
