The smoke rising from Turkmen Mountain did not surprise the Turkish public a little. We had compatriots in Bulgaria, Greece and Iraq, but what was Syria? By the way, we were very surprised when we saw people greeting President R. T. Erdoğan with Turkish flags during his visit to Lebanon in 2010 (during his prime years). In fact, we didn’t think that these people were packed into the halls for demonstration purposes.
Thank God, we soon realized that they were our orphans living in Lebanon and that they were living in places other than Beirut, such as Nananiye, Duris, Şeymiye, Addus, Hadidiye, Al Kaa, Kuvaşra.
