The new Tourism Center is located in Belek, 35 km east of Antalya, on a protected area with eucalyptus forests and pine trees and a sandy / fine gravel coastline. At the same time, with many modern golf courses meeting international standards, Belek is a golf paradise and one of the best starting points to see the historical beauties of the region.
The ‘Garden of Religions’, which brings together the trio of Church, Synagogue and Mosque, opened in the region in November 2004, is located close to Belconti Resort Hotel.
Our facility is built on an area of 98,000 m2, has wide vegetation “0” to the sea, is surrounded by greenery and is designed with environmental awareness. We visit Antalya’s favorite picnic area, Kurşunlu Waterfall, which can be visited in all seasons of the year, the ancient city of Perge, full of history, the Aspendos Theatre, and go golfing to Belek, which is famous for its fashionable sports fields of recent years.
Our first port of call is the golf facilities that have high season between the beginning of October and the end of May. Golf, a newly recognized sport in Turkey, not only allows you to get fresh air and experience sweet excitement, but also allows you to have fun, do sports, relieve stress and relax while walking on lush green fields and hills.
In Belek, where we witness 250-300 people playing golf on just one course a day, 98 percent of the golfers are tourists, mainly from Scandinavian countries and Germany.
Golfers who prefer the Antalya region and especially Belek, which has a warm season in the same period due to the worsening winter conditions in Europe, fill the hotels in winter as well as in summer. Due to satisfactory occupancy rates, many hotels and holiday villages remain open during the winter season, providing employment opportunities for their staff throughout the year.
“National Golf Club” is an organization that serves golf in Belek. The facility, admired by professional golfers, is built on a 9200-decare course with 18 holes. The fact that the holes do not have common features with each other, that it has a 9-hole training and practice area and various units allow various tournaments to be held.
The longest hole of the course, with a distance of 517 meters, is the fourth hole, surrounded by a lake on the left side and trees on the right. There are a total of 26 practice points in the golf area, where stone pine and eucalyptus trees constitute natural obstacles.
Points that golfers should pay attention to: While playing golf, it is necessary to find the direction and speed of the ever-changing wind and take these factors into consideration when hitting. The condition and quality of the field are effective factors in success. The length of the grass, the quality of the golf clubs used, and the misleading distance of some holes due to the terrain structure are other points that require attention.
A durable grass species that is not affected by heat and drought, suitable for the Antalya climate, was chosen for the course of the National Golf Club, founded by Bülent Göktuna in Belek, Antalya, and the club also hosted the Seniors Open Championship, the first professional tournament held in Turkey.
Burak Odabaşı, Sales and Marketing Manager of the National Golf Club, which has 110 members, states that golf instructors with England’s PGA license give lessons to those who want to learn golf. At the center, where discounts are given for groups and group lessons for five people are paid 86 dollars, for those who want to take private lessons, the half-hour lesson fee is 32 dollars.
Golf game time lasts approximately 3.5 to 4.5 hours. During this period, if you want to rent all your golf equipment from the facility during the stage, you will be charged 10 dollars, if you use a mechanical transport vehicle for this equipment, you will be charged 5 dollars, and if you want to complete the golf course with a battery-powered car instead of walking, you will be charged 25 dollars for vehicle rental until the stage is completed. Lockers and showers are free for strikers. National golf Club:

Kurşunlu WaterfallAntalya is not only a Mediterranean city famous for its sea, sun and five-star hotels. It is also like a corner of heaven with its lush green vegetation, greenhouses and waterfalls. Kurşunlu Waterfall in Aksu district is also a part of this paradise. It contains seven small ponds, every shade of green and over 100 bird species.
All you have to do is discover and enjoy this paradise. Kurşunlu Waterfall in Antalya’s Aksu district consists of seven small ponds where trout and ducks swim. Kurşunlu Waterfall, which is a favorite of local and foreign tourists in every season with its picnic area, water mill and plant tunnels, is also extremely easy to reach.
Waterfall trip: Leaving the picnic area to the left, a small path leads down to the steps hidden among large-leaved cactus-type plants and butterfly-like flowers. During this short but enjoyable journey among colorful plants, you come across a mill. This path, full of surprises, takes you to the waterfall in a short time. From here you can reach the cave under the waterfall.
The cave, whose walls are covered with emerald green moss and leaves, is the place where visitors take the most photos. Therefore, do not forget to take your camera with you when you go to Kurşunlu Waterfall. Conversations are difficult to hear inside the cave due to the intensity of the sound of water. Additionally, the coolness of the water allows you to move around more comfortably. If you went for a picnic and have a portable sun lounger with you, sit down right under the waterfall.
You can relieve the fatigue in your body by watching this uniquely beautiful view.
The pathway that takes you to the cave continues over the pond and crosses with a narrow bridge among the oleanders. If the water dripping from the waterfall does not bother you, proceed through the corridor under the waterfall. There is a giant plant tunnel on the descent where the path bends to the right. You will see that large-trunked monumental trees and various plants, saturated with water, cover the 900-hectare area like an umbrella. The only thing you can’t see here is the sky.
Because the sky becomes invisible due to the crowd of leaves. Ducks swimming in the ponds right across the street thank the tourists who throw small bread crumbs at them by approaching them to the shore and posing.
The valley where Kurşunlu Waterfall is located is famous not only for its vegetation but also for more than 100 bird species. For this reason, birdhouses on trees attract as much attention as the birds. The humidity rate is quite high in the valley. Despite this, the tour is completed with great pleasure, amid bird sounds mixed with the sound of water. So much so that on the way back, a little sadness mixes with this unique view.
Visiting Kurşunlu Waterfall and its surroundings relaxes not only the body but also the eyes thanks to all shades of green. Especially the reflection of oleanders in the ponds immediately mobilizes tourists who are fond of photography.
While you’ve been to the TarihKurşunlu Waterfall, you should also see Perge, the closest ancient city to the region. When you move 2 km inland from Aksu district, you will first pass the theater and see the hippodrome on your right next to the area where examples of stonemasonry are exhibited.
After the hippodrome, which ranks second in size after Aphrodisias, you can pass through the Roman gate of the city and visit the baths, agora, columned street, shops and the Acropolis.
Our last visit point is the famous Aspendos theater, where many artistic activities are performed today and visited by millions of tourists every year. Those who continue from the theater you will encounter after 4 km from the Aspendos turnout, which you can reach by going 5 km from Serik district towards Manavgat, can also see another magnificent structure, the aqueducts.
