One of the places where daily trips are constantly organized on Akyazı road and preferred by photographers is Sülüklü Lake, which is a National Park. There are large and small lakes of different colors in the Nature Conservation Area in the region. The largest of them is the turquoise colored Sülüklü Lake, and the lake at a height of 1,70 meters was formed as a result of the landslide about 300 years ago.

Swimming and fishing are prohibited as the depth is 25 meters and the bottom is covered with slime.

Sülüklü Lake, Sünnet Lake,Göynük and Mudurnu are natural wonders that you can reach two hours after departing from Istanbul. If you turn your route in this direction on a weekend when you need to rest your eyes and souls, you can offer yourself a wonderful nature visit in delicious colors that love each other. Of course, you should not forget to buy a camera in the meantime.

Because you will be impatient to show your friends the photos you will take or have taken.

This time, we turn your route to Bolu, which is easy and close to transportation and is famous for Gölcük, Yedigöller and Abant lakes, which exhibit different beauties in four seasons. There are two completely different lakes that have entered a beauty race with each other on your trip path in the region, which is so rich, wide and has very different nature, and Göynük and Mudurnu with their houses that compare to the world heritage Safranbolu.

Sülüklü lake is waiting for you to explore…If you want, you can follow the old road or the toll highway in the direction of Adapazarı and come to Akyazı Turnoff. The arboretum-like vegetation that continues along the road diversifies in this section where we leave the highway.

You come to the straw market of Dokurcun by passing through mineral water facilities on one side and Kuzuluk Hot Springs, timeshare houses and non-alcoholic trout family restaurants on the other. To the right of the road is a monumental plane tree that will give you a break.

The body of more than 500 years old and 11 meters in diameter fascinates those who see the uluçınar tree with its room-like inner cavity. After a few kilometers, when it comes to Tavşansuyu Location, those who follow the road on the right and proceed parallel to the water reach the lake with its large leafy plants, phosphorus trees, and its front garden among the larch trees, whose shores are quite wide and shining like lace ringstone.

We recommend you to taste the trout grown in natural pools in Soykan Trout, one of the Trout facilities on this road route.

The old water mill located at the junction of Tavşansuyu Sülüklü lake road is still in operation and it is possible to capture beautiful photo frames here.

Nature conservation area There is no facility within the Sülüklü Lake area of the General Directorate of National Parks. Especially on weekends, there are walking paths around the lake and spring water with a delicious taste in the resting place popular with picnickers.

In the green-blue Leech Lake, where there is no sound other than the sound of birds and the humming of the wind between the leaves, there is a species of leech that was once 8-10 cm tall and believed to suffer from aches when glued to painful places among the people. Later, when various fish were thrown into the lake, where hunting was prohibited, they were lost in the leeches that gave the lake its name.

When the waters are taken in the leechy lake, very beautiful photo frames affect you. The high mountains around the lake drop into the Sülüklü lake early in the morning and you see the faces of the Mountains in the lake. The trees coming out of the lake add more richness to your photo frames.

Sülüklü Lake, the favorite of Mudurnu

Sülüklü Lake, which is famous for its natural beauties in Mudurnu district of Bolu, fascinates those who see it. Sülüklü Lake, which is 70 kilometers away from Mudurnu and integrated with nature, adds another beauty to the lake due to the pine trees in the water due to the depression over time. Citizens who want to come to Sülüklü Lake, where there are no facilities, need to bring their picnic supplies with them.

Feti Duysak, appointed by the Mudurnu District Governorship, stated that they are working for the protection and transportation of the lake to future generations, and we are doing all kinds of maintenance of the lake here. He says we are working to prevent the environment from being polluted. Duysak reported that an entrance fee of 10 YTL was charged for buses, 7 YTL for trucks, 6 YTL for minibuses, 3 YTL for tractors, 3 YTL for cars, and 2 YTL for motorcycles.
