Koycegiz is also famous for its Sigla Tree (Daily Tree), which has only 6 tours around the world, in Japan and some parts of China. This rare tree is widely and densely found in the forests of Koycegiz Dalyan and its surrounding.

Prison Island

The little island of Goldeki is called Prison Island in yorede. The island has been used for military purposes before in history, then it was turned into a prison. You can see the remains of the Genoese castle. Yorede is also called Asık Adasi. According to the story, the two young people, who were in love with each other, settled on this island when their families did not allow them to marry. They got rid of the pressure of the families and could not get rid of the bad fate, they stung a big snake and were there.

The water flowing by making small waterfalls continues in places between the passages. These passages divide the river into two parts on Akköprü Bay. The upper stage of Dalaman tea, which has two different stages with different difficulty levels, is at the 3rd difficulty level and this stage can be passed with rafting boats. The second stage in the lower section is passed with small boats called “river-kayaking” and is recommended for the first time. Children can also participate in this stage with 1 difficulty level. Dalaman Cayi, Rafting-Kayaking Sub Track starts in Demirli Bay, Akkopru area and ends at Arpacik after a distance of approximately 12 km.
