Kumcağız beach, which is affiliated with Kurtyeri Mukhtar, is a five-minute walk from Kefken. In summer and winter, you can see magnificent views of the exquisite beach and the Kumcağız Stream that divides this beach into two, from Erim Hill, named after the late Nihat Erim. During the summer season, a lifesaving boat and its crew belonging to the Kandıra District Governorate serve at the beach. There are two separate camping areas right behind the beach for tent camping.

Kumcağız Stream offers a beautiful environment for anglers who want to catch mullet and carp. There are businesses providing small-scale industrial services in Doğanlar village.
