Ingredients
- 3 quinces
- 250-300 g minced meat
- 1 tablespoon butter + 6 teaspoons butter
- 1 diced onion
- 1 cup crushed walnuts
- 6 teaspoons of molasses
- black pepper, salt
How It Is Made
Quinces are peeled, washed and hollowed. Minced meat is cooked with butter in a pot. When the minced meat turns brown and releases its juice, add the onion and continue cooking, stirring occasionally with a spoon. Add walnuts and black pepper 3-4 minutes before turning off the stove. Some water is poured into a pan and quinces are placed in it. Add a teaspoon of butter and molasses into the quinces. Then, the inside of the quinces is filled with the prepared minced meat mixture. Cook the quinces over medium heat until they soften. You can serve by sprinkling dill on top, if desired.
