Sedir Island (Cleopatra Island)

Sedir Island, where Mark Anthonius and Cleopatra have great love, is among the golden beaches, ruins from the Roman Age and the ancient theater in the shape of a horseshoe, is one of the important stops of the Blue voyage.

Regular motor trips are organized from Çamlıköy to Sedir Island, which is 15 kilometers from Marmaris. The beach of the island covered with olive trees is simply magnificent. Its unique sand called oolotik and its unique sea ranging from turquoise to dark blue; it really makes the island special. There is an interesting beach in the small bay on the northwest side of the island, where it is rumored that Cleopatra swam among the people.
