Cökertme

Çökertme is a large bay located on the northern shore of the Gulf of Gokova, between Kepp Burnu and Karaburun. The bay takes its name from the village of Çökertme in the harbor. Çökertme, which is very sheltered against winds blowing from west to north and east, is one of the most popular bays by yachtsmen. Its beach is quite long, and it is possible to see island pine and olive trees on its shores.
