Kerme Bay

History BC. Kerme Bay, where Keramus is located, dating back to the 9th century and declared as the episcopal center during the Byzantine period, is a nature paradise where nature and history are intertwined. Today, the Temple of Zeus, Byzantine churches decorated with frescoes and ancient water channels can be seen inside the walls located in the south and west directions in the upper parts of the city. To the east of the city, there are mausoleums and rock tombs of various sizes.
