Among the many hot water springs within the borders of our town, the main places with thermal spring status are the springs known as Karakoç and Cumalı Thermal Springs, Uyuz, Ahmetçi Baths, Gelinboğan and Hamamönü Thermal Springs.

Karakoç Thermal Springs:

The thermal springs, located on today’s Old Kavakdere-Ürkmez road, are 15 meters above sea level and were very famous during the Hellenistic Roman and Byzantine periods.
