It is just one of the countless tamgali rocks, obelisks and balbals that I photographed in Adana. The recent burial title in the image promises the life of an eternal culture that will never fade away.
Continuity is very important. If this ends, it will be difficult to claim a cultural structure and say “this is mine”, no matter how many documents and findings we have. Let’s document our cultural values, protect them, but most importantly, sustain them.
