


Water pours into Kurşunlu Waterfall from a height of 18 meters and 7 small ponds are connected to each other with small waterfalls. Kurşunlu Waterfall is located in a 2-kilometer canyon. This area was turned into a park and opened to visitors in 1986. The waterfall and picnic area cover an area of 33 hectares. Within the picnic area; There are landscape viewing terraces, children’s playground, restaurant, parking lot and promenade areas.
Feature: Since it has a unique natural landscape feature where healthy forest texture and rich plant community samples are integrated with interesting water and rock forms, and the Kurşunlu Waterfall, which constitutes its important feature, its 586 hectare section was reserved as a Nature Park in 1991.
In the area dominated by red pine, there are oriental plane, laurel, carob, wild olive, mastic tree, willow and fig trees, either singly or in small groups. Myrtle, hawthorn, oleander, blackberry, wild rose, euphorbia, tamarisk, spruce, kermes oak, thyme, wild mint, record, fern and ivy make up the underforest flora.
Among the aquatic plants, it is possible to see (above water) buckthorn, water mint, reed (in-water) aquatic yuccas, filamentous green algae, and water lilies (floating plants). Wild boar, fox, rabbit, squirrel, bat, hoopoe, woodpecker, turtle dove, carp, water turtle, dog, snake and lizard make up the fauna of the Nature Park.
