Hadrian’s Gate is one of the best preserved historical buildings in Antalya. The monumental gate, a Roman work, was built in 130 AD in the name of Roman Emperor Hadrian. Over time, the city walls closed the outer part of the gate and the gate was not used for many years. It was rediscovered in 1882 when the ruins of the city walls were demolished. Also known as the Three Gates. It is located in Kaleiçi, Muratpaşa district of Antalya.

The original work, which is considered the most beautiful gate of the Pamphylia region, has two floors. However, the second floor has not survived to the present day. The three-eyed door has a Latin inscription. There are three dome-shaped openings on the upper parts of the building. It is made entirely of white marble, except for its columns. The carved and relief decorations are remarkable. There are two towers on either side of the gate, which are known not to have been built at the same time as the gate. The one in the south is known as the Julia Sancta Tower and is a work of Hadrian’s era. It is made of undecorated block stones. The lower parts of the northern one belong to the Ancient Age and the upper part dates from the Seljuk period.
