The Black City

This may be the best saying for this city. I did not like a place I went to for the first time in my life. Since the previous development consisted of overnight accommodation only, I did not notice the dirt and rust here. After our beautiful days in Miami, we set out for our 5-hour flight. Flights from Miami, which is already an international airport, to Laz Vegas are considered limited. We got on a plane like a city bus. Already, our long journey never ended. The slot machines we came across as we got off the plane surprised us even more. It was not enough for them to build a completely different world in the middle of the desert, and our capitalist friends turned this place into a pit of sin. Hotel adventure

It was a little difficult to find the reception from the casino in the middle of the hall at the entrance of the Stratosphere Tower hotel, which we chose to be more decent and not to be ambiguous . Although I had booked a smoking room, we had to buy a smoking-free room. I guess it didn’t bother them at all that we were left with the smell of cigarettes that burned our nose for 2 days. After what I said, I do not recommend anyone who still wants to go, neither Las Vegas nor this hotel. It looks pretty nice from the outside, but I didn’t even bother to sigh it.

As soon as we settled in the hotel, we slept immediately, and the time difference made us a little tired. There is a time difference between Las Vegas and Miami, Las Vegas is 3 hours behind. The next day, due to the time difference, we got up before dawn, thank God the Starbucks in our hotel was open and we were able to have our breakfast. We went to the fairground early in the morning, but we waited a bit as it was not opened before 9.30. We had many business meetings at the fair that lasted until the evening. We came together again with our friends we had previously met in SSce Guangzhou. I even forgot I was in Las Vegas at the fairground.

After the fair, we took the buses to go to the city to go shopping, and I told the driver where I wanted to go in detail. As the stops passed, we could not come to the street where there were all kinds of big hotels, although it was at a visible distance. When we got to the last stop, we realized that we were on the wrong road, but we came to the famous Flamengo street. We had to go off and do some shopping. The next day, I held several job interviews and took my last photos. Although there were 6 hours left to our flight, we preferred to wait at the airport. This city has bored us a lot. Desert-themed SAHARA HOTEL Gambling has spread like an epidemic, it is possible to see gambling machines in the market, at the airport, in the hotel lobbies (hotels are already the main marketers of this business) and the market. The most striking photo for me was the greedy gambling of 70-80 year old aunts and uncles in wheelchairs. People who take their children and come here on vacation are also a subject of comment. I have advice for those who make a mistake and want to come to Las Vegas or, as my brother said, laz ve gazz 🙂 but it is very limited. one.

The architectures of the hotels are really interesting, the atmosphere of the desert, which was once a place where birds would never fly, has changed. Themed hotels are worth seeing; From the Statue of Liberty to the Brooklyn Bridge in the garden of the New York Hotel, from the classic New York buildings to the Clock Tower, it has been a copy of the original with all its details.
2. I will not have any restaurant suggestions. I was contented with snacking at Starbucks café because it is an environment I don’t like anyway. Black coffee and muffins in the morning were like an oasis in the desert for me.
3. Searching for morality here would be the most absurd thing to do. There is a social structure that may contradict even the classical family structure in America. Since the nights are long and dirty, the day starts late. Even the fair didn’t open before 09:30. We had to wait at the door since we arrived early.
4. You should not come here without seeing the nearby Lake Meade and the Grand Canyon 4-5 hours away. If your budget allows, a helicopter tour can also be arranged. I did not choose it as the helicopter tour is quite expensive ($ 300 per person), but I’m sure it’s amazing.
5. We made the hotel reservation from HotelReservations.com . We bought all of our plane tickets on this site . It was $ 5-10 cheaper on other sites, but we had to because they didn’t accept Turkish credit cards. All in all, we are satisfied, I recommend. We didn’t rent a car in Las Vegas. There is a shuttle service from the airport to the hotels for $ 8 per person. DEUCE for going to nearby outlet stores and for urban transportationThere is a bus named. one trip is $ 2, an unlimited 24-hour ticket is $ 5. If you are thinking of coming here for a night stay, choose one of the hotels that are a little further away from the themed hotels called the strip region, if you rent a car, you will not have parking problems.
A little information for those who want to go to the Grand Canyon, Budget in airports can be expensive, and if you find a branch in the city, you can solve the vehicle problem.
