
Ingredients
- 600 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 125 g butter
- 250 g oil
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 200 g milk
- 150 g yoghurt
- For the Sherbet:
- 1.5 kg of granulated sugar
- 1 liter of water
- juice of 1/4 lemon
- Half a teaspoon of salt
How It Is Made
Mix flour, 2 eggs, oil, sugar, lemon juice and salt. Add milk and yoghurt and knead until the softness of an earlobe. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Separate 15 half-walnut-sized pieces from the dough. The pieces are rolled out to palm size with the help of a rolling pin, starch is sprinkled between them, they are placed on top of each other and divided into 5 pieces. The pieces are rolled out as much as they grow, first with the help of a roller and then with a clave, and placed on a greased tray. Butter and oil mixture is spread between each layer. The rest of the mixture is poured on top. After the baklava is sliced, it is put into the hot oven. After it cools down, sherbet is poured over the baklava and cream is placed in between.
