What are the ingredients for Beypazarı Baklava?

30 eggs

5 tablespoons of yoghurt

1 cup of vinegar

1 cup of oil

3 glasses of water

5 cups oil

1 kg of butter

Ingredients for Sherbet:

3 kg of sugar

10 glasses of water

1 teaspoon butter

lemon juice

salt

How to Make Beypazarı Baklava

Preparation of Sherbet: Sugar and water are boiled. As soon as it comes off the stove, add lemon juice, butter and salt.

Making Baklava: A hard dough for baklava is kneaded with eggs, yoghurt, vinegar, oil, water, salt and as much flour as necessary, and it is divided into 60 chards and left to rest. The tray on which the baklava will be placed is oiled. The chard is thinly sliced ​​and placed on the tray. While the chard is being rolled out, a mixture of starch and flour is sprinkled between the layers. Melt one kilogram of butter and add oil into it. This oil mixture obtained is used to lubricate the dough. Every 15 chards, a glass of oil is poured onto the rolled out dough and this process is repeated four times. After 30 sheets of dough, crushed walnuts are placed in between. After 60 chards are finished, they are cut into diamond shapes. The remaining oil is heated and poured all over the tray. Bake in the oven at medium temperature. Then, warm syrup is poured over the baklava, which is taken out of the oven and kept until it becomes warm.
