What are Bending Materials? 6 cups flour 1 tea glass of oil 1 tablespoon tallow (cattle tallow) 1 cup green lentils 100 g poppy seeds 1 medium onion 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of black pepper
How It Is Made
Flour and salt are mixed with water and kneaded until an earlobe-soft dough is obtained. The dough is divided into two parts. After the first piece is opened and greased with inner oil, poppy seeds mixed with oil are spread on it and it is turned into a bundle and set aside. After the other piece is rolled out and oiled in the same way, the first folded piece is taken and placed in the middle of this dough. It is folded into a bundle again. On the other hand, add finely chopped and oil-fried onion into the boiled lentils and mix thoroughly with salt and black pepper. The rested dough is cut into small pieces. Each piece is rolled out in a rectangular shape with a rolling pin. The prepared lentil mixture is placed in the middle and the two opposite sides are closed, end to end. After this process is completed, the dough is oiled and baked in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for 40 minutes.
Note: Potatoes can also be used as filling material instead of lentils. Bending takes its name from the way it folds. It can be eaten with sour cherry compote and with melon and watermelon in summer.
