Yarimca Recipe – Ankara

What are the Ingredients of Yarımca?

5 kg flour

1 tea glass of yoghurt

2 tea glasses of milk

Half a tea glass of oil

Fresh yeast the size of a hazelnut

as much water as possible

salt

material for inside

1 kg minced meat

8 medium sized onions

1 bunch of parsley

Half a tea glass of oil

5 eggs

red pepper flakes

salt

How to Make Halfca

Onions are finely chopped. Minced meat, oil and onion are roasted together until they turn pink. Eggs are added and cooked by stirring. Add parsley and spices and remove it from the stove. Flour, salt, yoghurt, water, milk, oil and softened yeast are kneaded in a bowl. Divide it into chard and let it rest in a cool place for 15-20 minutes. Each bicep is opened in a round shape. Take some of the filling ingredients and put them inside. Fold the dough and press the edges firmly with your fingers. It is taken with a rolling pin and placed on the hot metal sheet above the stove. It is turned over and cooked without burning the front and back. After it is lowered, it is oiled well on both sides with a suitable brush (rabbit foot) on a tray.
