Another source of livelihood of the district is mobile beekeeping. Mullet fish is produced in Köyceğiz Lake and Dalyan Strait, which connects the lake to the Mediterranean. Trout facilities are established in Beyobası town and continue their production.

There are 3 citrus washing, waxing, standardization and packaging factories in the district, and exports are made from here. In addition, there is a factory producing agricultural tools and machinery in Köyceğiz Village, named after the district.

The city of Kaunos, one of the important harbors and trade centers of Karia, which was established in the region where Köyceğiz Lake and the lake meets the coast, increases the importance of the district in tourism.

In addition, the Hot-Cold Thermal Springs in the Sultaniye Village of the district constitute an important center in terms of health tourism. On the other hand, Yayla Village and Gökçeova to its north attract attention with safari tourism. There are mud baths and facilities in Çandır Village, Horozlar.

Ekincik Bay, which is located on the Mediterranean coast of Köyceğiz, is one of the places suitable for water surfing, water skiing and swimming with its long beach, beautiful bay and marina.

Köyceğiz Lake, Dalyan Canal, hot spring and mud baths, 10 km. 800 m away. high altitude Ağla Plateau, Waterfall, Roundcay are places worth seeing. Dalaman Stream is important for rafting and trekking. Highland tourism studies are continuing for Ağla Plateau and also infrastructure works are carried out for a bicycle track around the lake, between Köyceğiz and Dalyan.
