Hisarönü Bay, which looks like a closed bay surrounded by mountains, is a shelter for tourists as well as delicious fish. Orhaniye and Kızkumu, which are among the lacy bays of the famous bay with its uniquely beautiful sunset, and attracting attention with its mythological story and geographical structure, are the important stops of 4 × 4 safarists in the region.

Orhaniye village consists of two neighborhoods built on two bays; Keçibükü and Central neighborhood. On your way from Hisaronu, Keçibükü is a small bay with the “Bay Marina”, an ancient church and some ruins of buildings that meet the needs of the yachts in the region. At the end, there is Orhaniye Bay with its castle and island used by the Knights of Rhodes in the middle and Kızkumu with its interesting geographical structure. Displaying completely different beauties from every angle and every height, Orhaniye has a flat sea like a sheet in the first hours of the day. Seeing the sunrise later due to the height of the mountains, the bay is bathed in Mediterranean navy during the day and with a riot of red, orange, pink and purple colors at sunset.

There are many activities you can do while visiting the historical village, whose first name was “Kırvasil”, later known as Orhaniye and whose history dates back to the 3rd century BC. Stagnant bay allows all kinds of water sports. Getting up early and wandering among the sounds of rowing on a boat is another way of pleasure and relaxation. Especially if you are interested in angling, it is almost impossible to return empty-handed here. The coasts suitable for water skiing and surfing and the pirate island in the middle of the bay meet the expectations of those who are passionate about adventure, climbing, diving, and underwater hunting, as well as those who want to capture interesting images with photo and video cameras.

If you leave the village and bay aside and go on a tour around the area, you can attend the carpet shows of the village women weaving carpets in Turgut Village, 10 minutes away from Orhaniye. After the carpet sales to the tourists, the groups see Selimiye Village, Bybassos Ancient City, Pınarcık Ruins, the Şelale locality, which is reminiscent of the Amazon Forests, or touristic centers such as Çiflik and Bayır. Although the tomb (monumental tomb in the form of a pyramid) near Orhaniye Turgut Village does not attract the attention of passersby, it has features worth seeing. The story of the mausoleum located in front of the necropolis of the ancient city and determined to belong to a respected family is also interesting.
Those who dream of a happy life and a good marriage, those who do not have children, will go to the military, take a pinch of soil from here and hide it until their wishes are fulfilled. Those who fulfill their wishes leave the land they bought in the same place. This is the common belief in the region …
