Ingredients
- 1 kg. flour
- 1 tablespoon butter (to grease the top)
- salt
- 150 gr. oil
- 150 gr. crushed walnuts
- 150 gr. crushed poppy
How It Is Made
Add salt and prepare dough with earlobe consistency. It is covered and rested for a while. Make 5 balls of dough. The meringues are rolled out thinly and oiled. The crushed walnuts and poppy seeds are diluted with oil again and spread on top. The ends are pulled by hand so that no area is left untouched by the material. This rolled out and plastered dough is folded from the edge and rolled into a roll. It is rolled and pressed like a bagel, then turned into a meringue, rolled out to a thickness of 0.5 cm with a rolling pin, and baked by rotating it on a sheet metal. Once it is well browned on both sides, it is removed from the oiled sheet, greased with butter again and served.
