Fakilli Cave

To go to Fakıllı Cave in Fakıllı Village of Akçakoca, you can reach the village center by following the fire station and prison route from Çuhallı bazaar and passing under the ring road bridge. When you go by the mosque and pass the coffee house, you leave the vehicle and get off in the direction of the amateur sign showing the right slope. At the upper right of the cave entrance, there is a switch that illuminates the cave. After burning it and following a 15-meter entrance, you walk, bend, and sometimes go duck walk from the gallery to the gallery. The 150-meter cave is admired with the stalactites and stalagmites in the cave. The formations with columns called white rooms attract attention. It is seen that the cave, which is a 1500 meters excursion gallery and cannot be visited completely, needs the attention of those concerned! There is a bench in the cave for those with asthma problems. Those who breathe the humid air here for a while gain breathing comfort when they go out of the cave. Shooters should bring a flash and tripod. They should be careful not to hit your head in low places, not to slip on wet stones.
