Ankara Castle

The castle, thought to be from the Gladians in the 2nd century BC, consists of two parts, the inner and outer castle. The inner castle walls M.S. It is stated that Ankara Castle, with its current appearance, is from the Seljuk period. Apart from wandering on the walls of the Ankara castle, seeing the narrow streets inside the castle and watching the surroundings, there is a museum that must be seen in Ankara and it is difficult to express it in the face of its richness and beauty.

The domed structure, which can be reached by leaving the Hisar gate of the castle and turning right down the Gözcü street, is the Ottoman period Bedesten, and it was built between 1464-1471 by Mahmut Pasha, the vizier of Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror, and was transformed into a magnificent museum with the arrangement and restoration carried out in the 1960s.
