Ankara Theater

Another place to visit in the foothills of the Ankara castle can be the ruins of the theater on the northwest slope of the castle. The ruins of the theater on Hisar Park Street, which goes from Ulus square to the castle, are in the second half of the 1st century AD and AD. It is dated to the beginning of the 2nd century. The semicircular orchestra, seating rows, transition sections to the orchestra can be seen in the theater, which has a Roman-specific plan type.
