Anatolia’s crossroads, Capital Ankara;
It was home to the Old Stone Age, Copper Age, Bronze Age, Hittites, Phrygians, Persians, Glats, Kingdom of Pergamon, Tektosags, Pontus Kingdom, Romans, Byzantines, Seljuks, Mongols, Ottomans, 13th October. It became the capital of the Republic of Turkey in 1923. We start touring this historical city from Ankara Castle, which has become the symbol of the city.
There is a magnificent view of the castle, which can be seen from many parts of Ankara, as well as almost the entire part of the city. Those who climb to the Ankara castle both have the opportunity to watch the city from above, and at this point, they have different feelings.
Looking down on Ankara, the capital of Turkey, from the castle has an inexplicable taste and a completely different taste. Something like the general view of Turkey, not from the roof of the capital! You can even feel like a manager at this point. In addition to the sense of confidence of being in the castle, the effect of the dominance and height created by the length of the panorama plays a major role in this feeling.
A different atmosphere is experienced within the walls surrounding the Ankara castle. Some of the old houses were used for boutique hotel restaurants, some for souvenir shops and cafes. The renewed different texture makes travel lovers experience the old, as well as giving photography lovers the pleasure of watching and being a composition. During the castle tour, tiredness breaks are given, meals are eaten against Ankara and drinks are sipped with pleasure.
