Myndos Gate
Myndos Gate, one of the two entrance gates of Halicarnassus, is on the west side of Bodrum. Only the remains of a wall have remained until today. Excavation and restoration work continues under the sponsorship of Turkcell.
Alexander the Great entered the siege of the city in 333 BC from this gate. After a very difficult resistance, he conquered the city and destroyed the whole city except Mausoleum.
